Grower Gatherings

At Keep Growing Detroit we host many grower gatherings throughout the year. These events are designed to introduce growers to one another, help growers build skills, and increase access to resources for gardens and farms.

SECOND SATURDAY COMMUNITY WORKDAYS

Join KGD and one our 2018 Beautiful Borders awardees, the historic Operation Get Down at our final workday of the season on Saturday, October 13th from 10AM-12PM at 10100 Harper. Get hands on experience planting perennial flowers that can liven up any garden space. Learn about perennial plant care and maintenance while supporting the work of a fellow community garden.

FALL FEST AT THE NEW KGD FARM

We hope to see you at Fall Fest on October 20th at The KGD Farm from 2-4PM! We have lots of fun lined up for the first big event at the new farm, which is located at 1850 Erskine in the Eastern Market District! GRP members can pick up garlic seed for fall planting, families can explore with a farm scavenger hunt and healthy kid stations, or get a taste of fall with fresh apple cider making. Fun for the whole family.
