KEEP GROWING DETROIT IS HIRING

We are now accepting applications for three positions.

The Urban Garden Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting families, community groups, and organizations interested in growing vegetable gardens in the city by assisting with garden planning, development, programming, and maintenance as well as providing instruction on basic gardening concepts.

The Urban Garden Resource Facilitator, a seasonal position, will be responsible for supporting Garden Resource Program members with resources establish and maintain vegetable gardens in the city. They will also assist with the planning and implementation of community events such as workdays, meetings and resource distributions.

The Farm Field Operations Co-Coordinator will be responsible for managing in-ground production and supporting transplant and greenhouse production at the Plum Street Market Garden.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES 

This spring hundreds of gardeners and volunteers from across the region will work together to  grow the transplants that will be distributed to Detroit’s urban gardening community this April, May, and July.
