KEEP GROWING DETROIT IS HIRING!
Just in time for spring, Keep Growing Detroit is hiring an Urban Garden Development Coordinator. This hourly employee will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for community groups and organizations with interest in growing vegetable gardens in the city as well as assisting groups with programming and maintenance support, including occasional instruction of basic garden concepts, development of lesson plans and/or activities at early childhood centers, and supervision of volunteer groups. The Coordinator will also assist with activities that support the Garden Resource Program, including support with outreach, resource distribution and community events.

VOLUNTEER WITH US AT THE PLUM STREET MARKET GARDEN
Come farm with us! Keep Growing Detroit maintains open volunteer hours at the Plum Street Market Garden, every Tuesday from 4-6PM (March-October), Thursday from 5-7PM (March-June), and Friday from 10AM-12PM (April-August).
If you have a group of 5 or more interested in volunteering at the Plum Street Market Garden or another community or market garden in Detroit, Hamtramck, or Highland Park please contact us to schedule an event.
