Deon Hamilton is a native Detroiter born and raised on the Eastside. Deon is a devoted husband and father and takes pride in raising his family with an appreciation for nature and gardening. Deon has been a member of Keep Growing Detroit and has cultivated a family garden for several years. His appreciation for nature and holistic healing led him to pursue further education at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education. In 2015, he became certified as a Natural Health Educator. Deon proceeded to teach several classes and workshops on natural healing for churches and local community organizations, including Keep Growing Detroit. He believes that we were initially designed to eat from the garden and that is where true healing should begin.
