Have your gift matched!: Did you know that you could double or triple your impact? Many companies offer a matching gift program for current and sometimes retired, employees’ philanthropic gifts or volunteer time. Find out how by asking your employer about their matching gift program, or contact us for assistance.
Ideas to fundraise collectively: host a dinner featuring seasonal and locally grown produce; if you’re a business owner, donate a portion of your proceeds for a day, week, or month to KGD; make a special on ask your birthday to your networks via Facebook or Instagram
If you’re part of the Garden Resource Program, you already know that thousands of growers across Detroit rely on Keep Growing Detroit each season for seeds, transplants, compost, education, and support.
Showing up for growers year after year takes consistency, especially as we navigate rapid growth, changing conditions, and more extreme weather.
That’s why we’re launching the KGD Tomato Club.
Tomato Club members make a recurring monthly gift (starting at $5) that helps ensure we can keep showing up for Detroit growers season after season.
As we head into the spring equinox, our goal is to welcome 25 new members to Team Tomato. If GRP has been meaningful to you, we invite you to join Team Tomato and help sustain this work.
