GROWN IN DETROIT STAND AT EASTERN MARKET SHED 2
This year the Grown in Detroit farm stand will be back at the Eastern Market in Shed 2 from April 27th - November 23rd. Shed 2 is located on Russell between Winder and Adelaide.

In this class, Lorrie will guide you through a few simple steps to help you "put your garden to bed" so you can enjoy a more productive and successful garden next year.
Seed to Table Indigenous Filipino Foods w/ Danielle
Through this offering she’ll also share indigenous Filipino food practices to honor ancestors, and focus on bahay kubo veggies that can grow both in the backyards of the Philippines and Detroit.

KGD Farm Dinner Series: Indigenous Peoples' Day Dinner w/ Rosebud Bear-Schneider (Maplebuds) & Kirby Shoote (Be'-be)
This dinner is for members of the Garden Resource Program growing in Detroit, Highland Park, and/or Hamtramck.
Three Sisters Harvest with Rosebud and Diana of Taco Hernandez
In this hands-on class we will explore the rich tradition of the Three Sisters—corn, beans, and squash—while teaching essential techniques for preserving your harvest.

Shop for native plants at a farmer’s market style gathering of Michigan native plant producers. Vendors will have a variety of native plants including perennial flowers, shrubs and trees!
