Tour Descriptions
Eastside Bike Tour - Leisurely nine mile bike ride visiting seven community gardens and local farms residing in the lower Eastside of Detroit. There'll be plenty of time to walk and stretch your legs out!
Hubbard Farms Walking Tour - Our first ever walking tour will visit 5 outstanding family and community gardens in the Historic Hubbard Farms neighborhood in southwest Detroit. On the 1.5 mile walk, participants will also be able to view several additional gardens from the sidewalk or alley and meet many of the people that make the Hubbard Farms community a great place to live!
Eastside Driving Tour - This tour highlights four community gardens, two in the heart of the Eastside and two in Jefferson Chalmers, growing produce and cut flowers. Finish off at a small local restaurant that has their own garden on site to provide customers with the freshest of produce.
