Join us for a three-part series exploring the traditional agricultural practice of the Three Sisters Garden, an Indigenous method passed down through generations that involves planting corn, beans, and squash together. This series honors the cultural and spiritual significance of this sustainable practice. The first session will focus on corn—covering mound building and planting, along with a discussion on the traditional Anishinaabe Three Sisters practice. The second class will delve into planting squash and beans, and the third will celebrate the harvest. Experience firsthand the mutual benefits of these interdependent crops.
