Every year there are more and more individuals, businesses, and foundations that recognize and value the contributions that urban gardens and farms make to our communities. There are all sorts of ways to leverage this support to generate resources to sustain and expand our collective work ranging from fundraising campaigns and grants to in-kind donations and forgivable loans. In this session KGD will share our best practices for project planning, budgeting, prospect research, and putting proposals together to help build participant's capacity to secure funding for their projects.
