Making Traditional Maple Sugar with Rosebud Bear Schneider (Anishnaabe)

Harvesting and processing maple sap into maple syrup and sugar is an important food tradition for Anishinaabe people in the Great Lakes region. As we close out another successful harvest, join Rosebud who is a KGD farmer and part of the Waawiiyatanong (Detroit) Sugarbush Project, for a discussion on the cultural significance of this food and a demonstration on making maple sugar.
