Join Keep Growing Detroit in raising scholarship funds for the 2024 Detroit-based Organic Farmer Training Program (OFTP) cohort. The OFTP is an incredible year-long opportunity that nurtures aspiring farmers, homesteaders, and educational gardeners in building community and acquiring the skills they need to sustainably build the farm of their dreams.

Here are 2 ways to support our fundraising efforts!

1. Bid on auction items

Thanks to our community partners who contributed items to the auction, all proceeds will go directly towards 2024 Detroit-based OFTP scholarships.

• Bidding for the auction will open on Wednesday, September 6, and will close on Friday, September 29 at 11:59 p.m.

• All items must be picked up at KGD Farm, 3100 Orleans St., on Wednesday, October 4 between 3-5 p.m.

• As the fiduciary for the scholarship, all funds and donations from the auction will go through KGD. Keep Growing Detroit is designated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as tax-exempt as defined in section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, your contribution is tax-deductible. Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of our tax determination letter for your records.

2. Make a general donation

Contribute to the scholarship fund without bidding on items.
