Join us for the 26th Annual Detroit Farms & Gardens Tour!

In addition to our biking, driving, and walking tours, we've included the first kids tour in this year's lineup! Tour meeting locations and directions will be emailed to attendees prior to the tour.

The evening will conclude at KGD Farm with music, food trucks, and fellowship in celebration of over 25 years of touring Detroit family, school, community, and market gardens.

Tickets are $10-$25 and include the tour + food ticket for the celebration at KGD Farm. Tickets for only the celebration are available for $25.

Tour Descriptions

• Eastside Bike Tour - A leisurely bike ride visiting three community gardens and local farms residing in the lower Eastside of Detroit. There'll be plenty of time to walk and stretch your legs out!

• Walking Tour - We'll take a stroll in the Jefferson Chalmers down the tree-lined street of Manistique. This route will feature three community gardens rooted in the neighborhood. Keep an eye out for a fairy garden, climate clinic, and an artscape hidden within the beautiful spaces!

• Westside Driving Tour - This tour highlights a community of urban agriculture in Detroit's westside. We'll visit three gardens and farms, including the farm for a Detroit Black Farmer Land Fund awardee that works with veterans and a 3.5-acre urban food research center.

• Northwest Kids Walking Tour - It's our first-ever tour created especially for little ones! We'll be checking out three gardens all in one block. It's a great opportunity for KGD Kids to explore this unique block of gardens that are all cultivated by Detroit Black Farmer Land fund awardees.
